AXE Creatives™ was founded in 1988 by Anthony & Eric during a lecture given at Stony Brook University. They took the 1st letters of their names and placed an “x” between them so as to signify “Anthony by Eric.” As for the word “Creatives”—that actually isn’t a word, but seemed to fit so they went with it. Eric double-majored at Stony Brook and graduated with a BS in Applied Math and a BA in Economics while Anthony emerged with a BA in Economics and an MS in Industrial Management.

AXE began by writing custom apps. Soon it was an authorized reseller for Compaq, HP & other equipment makers, and had become Novell & MS Business Partners. Today it offers custom application development, hardware & peripheral sales, consulting, network administration, troubleshooting, systems optimization and training. United World Wide Web was founded in 1996 to offer Web Hosting and E-mail services.
